Kite JournalMonday July 29th, 2013Just Where Did July Go?i mean really ...Wow, this month is ending so quickly I feel like it just started. But then I think back on how long ago July Fourth was and it is easy to realize just how full a month it has been. I have more than one uncompleted journal entry in this month and a few from last month. (and actually three other significant ones that still need to be completed from as far back as October!) Oh well, onward we go into August. Hopefully I will catch up with my past but until then I'll just have to live in the present or at least the recently past present. The weekend flew by without much flying as the winds here would not cooperate. iFlites were in the air quite a bit though. Sitting on the couch and flying all over the room was great fun, I highly recommend it! From the early pictures it looks like the Mid-Summer Kite Party on Treasure Island went very well. And I have seen some great pictures of the Octopi flying at Berkeley. I will try to find some good youtube videos of those events and post them soon. Not much in the way of journal entries lately as life keeps moving quick. I posted some of the pictures from St. Augustine from a week ago, but still have not made the actual journal entries. Hopefully that will happen, we shall see. We did get some new kites and there are some others on the way in the mail. I will talk about those tomorrow.... |
