storming along

It's friday and I have been slacking on my journal entries. that just means I'm busier than normal and most likely I am out playing or something.

The weekend ahead is full of playing. First off there's lots of kite flying going on. The biggest thing close by is the Kitty Hawk Kite Festival but we can't make that this year. Flying kites at Kitty Hawk is definitly on my list of have to's. Maybe next year. Also on the other side of this very small planet is the Inrood Kite Festival in Singapore, Singapore. That would be an amazing place to be this weekend for sure. I will do my best to get some good information about the happenings at both of those events in the coming days.

So, that leaves a weekend ahead with nothing to do ... hmmm.

Actually it is Kelli's Birthday Weekend and that means it is time ot head to Saint Augustine for our yearly stay on the beach. Yearly may mislead you as we really are only there a day. Ok, two days this year, er, nights actually. Which actually means three days. We set out tomorrow, tonight we relax at home and pack a bit. Saint Augustine is only an hour away and we can visit it anytime really, but this is a mini vacation birthday celebration kinda thing.

Now we know the weather is going to be iffy, it's been storming here daily for more than two weeks and it will continue for now. But It's fun ahead no matter what! Life is good.
